Luis has a degree in Chemistry (1994) from the Universidad Complutense (Spain) and then a postgraduate degree in Analytical and Instrumental Chemistry (1996). Prior to arriving the Biogeochemistry Lab, he was at the Laboratory of Animal Health of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (2003-2007) and in the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (2007-2008). In 2008, he arrived at our Lab, coordinating the Laboratory functioning and equipment as well. He carried out numerous advanced courses in gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and coupling of these instrumental techniques.
